Position

Special scientist in the field of computer systems and signal processing . Full-time employee of the Hellenic Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Climate Change.

1993-96 The Cleveland Clinic Foundation

Research Assistant

I developed a new method for rigid body registration of medical images.

I presented several conference publications in the field of image processing

 

 

1996-1998 Dept of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

Research Assistant

I worked on rigid medical image registration.

I extended the method for non-rigid registration (on-going work).

I extended the method for 2d rigid registration using 1d binary projections(on-going work).

I participated in commitees for the Informatics Society of Greece (KTP AE) as a member and as a President.

Interests

 Current research interests: I want to extend the registration method for 2d-3d registration

Pedagogical literature, learning foreign languages,learning math, C / C++ programming languages.
