A big earthquake shook Indonesia yesterday. The magnitude of the earthquake is quite shocking. My home country Greece has a big problem with earthquakes and I don't dare to think what would happen if a magnitude 7.5 earthquake occured here. It seems that this is a difficult, if not unsolvable, problem for scientists.
From CNN.COM:
A 7.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Indonesia early Monday, leaving two people dead and 37 injured, health authorities said, but warnings of a possible tsunami were soon lifted.
