    US Attorney General faint
    11/21/2008 4:39:35 PM

I hope all is well with the adorable Mr. Mukasey:

FROM CNN.COM:   "U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey suffered a fainting spell Thursday night, according to Gina Talamona, spokeswoman for the Department of Justice.Mukasey, 67, did not suffer a stroke or experience a heart attack, she said Friday morning. Mukasey collapsed while giving a speech Thursday at the Federalist Society dinner at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington. He was giving a spirited defense of the Bush administration's legal policies when his speech began to slur and he lost track of his thoughts about 30 minutes into his talk. Seconds later, he became rigid and then began to slump.  Mukasey was rushed to George Washington University Medical Center, said Peter Carr, a Justice Department spokesman."

    Earthquake in Indonesia
    11/17/2008 9:15:40 AM

A big earthquake shook Indonesia yesterday. The magnitude of the earthquake is quite shocking. My home country Greece has a big problem with earthquakes and I don't dare to think what would happen if a magnitude 7.5 earthquake occured here. It seems that this is a difficult, if not unsolvable, problem for scientists.

    From CNN.COM:

A 7.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Indonesia early Monday, leaving two people dead and 37 injured, health authorities said, but warnings of a possible tsunami were soon lifted.
